New Indoor Bowling Short Mat Season opening up

Short Mat Bowling will be starting up again soon and with the success of previous years we are now preparing and looking forward to our 2026/2027 season. Our club members and members of the bowling community are welcome to come to the orientation and receive informal coaching if needed on the dates indicated below to get a feel for the game and join us in this fun activity . Cost for the season is $70 for current OLBA members and $115 for non OLBA members, there is an additional cost of $5 if a locker is required.
ORIENTATION WITH INFORMAL COACHING, REGISTRATION & PRACTICE
Friday Oct. 9th 10:00— 12:00 p.m. (Registration/Orientation) 
 Saturday Oct. 10th 10:00 — 12:00 p.m. (Registration/Orientation) 

The season membership includes unlimited use during scheduled play-times. 
Initially the schedule (which can be expanded) will be as follows depending on 
participation starting Tuesday October 13th 2026 and ending April 2027, date TBD. 
(Thanksgiving Monday Oct. 12th no bowling)
Monday Oct. 19th 1:00 p.m.—3:00 p.m.
Tuesday Oct. 13th 10:30 a.m.— 12:30 p.m.
Wednesday Oct. 14th 1:00 p.m.— 3:00 p.m. 
Thursday Oct. 15th 10:00 a.m.—12:00 p.m. 
Friday Oct. 16th 1:00 p.m.— 3:00 p.m. 
Saturday Oct. 17th 10:00 a.m.—12:00 p.m.
Location: Ancaster Municipal Lawn Bowling Club 291 Lodor St. Ancaster, Ontario. The only equipment needed is a set of regular sized bowls along with flat shoes, team spirit and cheery smiles. The club can arrange to provide bowls if a player doesn’t own a set, also free coaching
